You're no good for me...

My Love,
Oh God, how I want to cry,
Writing these words,
Tears form in my eyes.

I have not allowed myself,
To feel such pain in so long.
I cannot bare to fall in love with you
Again, I must be strong.

So please,
My love,
Do not possess me,
But set me free.

I can still remember being so happy,
Answering the phone,
Hearing your voice on the line,
Greeting sweetly in that deep tone,

Saying, "Hi Love."
